Create Work Order

Work orders ensure organized, efficient, and accountable maintenance management for your team.

Follow these steps to create a work order in our web app:

  1. Access the Work Orders Section

    • After logging in, navigate to the Work tab in the sidebar menu and select Work Orders.

  2. Start a New Work Order

    • Click the New button to open a form for creating a new work order.

  3. Fill in Basic Details

    • Provide essential information such as the Name, Description, and associated Asset.

    • Set the priority of your work order to indicate its urgency.

    • Add other relevant details that define the scope of the work order.

  4. Attach Relevant Documents

    • In the Documents section, upload any files related to the work order, such as manuals, diagrams, or reports, to provide additional context or support for the task.

  5. Set User Permissions

    • Assign permissions to the appropriate users for this work order.

  6. Add Work Instructions

    • Under the Work tab, include any specific work instructions or descriptions to guide the task execution.

  7. Specify Labors and Parts

    • Go to the Labors & Parts tab and add the required Services, Norms, Labors, and any Parts or additional expenses that need to be included.

  8. Attach Necessary Checklists

    • Under the Forms tab, attach any checklists required for the work order.

  9. Include Safety Measures

    • Add any Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) measures under the appropriate section to ensure safety compliance.

  10. Finalize and Save the Work Order

    • Review all details and choose one of the following actions based on the work order's status:

      • Save as Draft to complete later.

      • Submit for further processing.

      • Approve to finalize and activate the work order.
