Filter Assets (Mobile App)

Filter assets in WorkTrek to save time, improve efficiency, and quickly locate what you need for streamlined maintenance and management.

Follow these steps to filter assets:

  1. Access the Asset List

    • After logging in, click on the menu icon located in the top left corner and select "Assets" from the menu.

      Access the Assets module from the mobile navigation menu.

  2. Explore Filtering Options

    • Once the list of assets appears, you can filter them in several ways:

      • Search Field: Type the asset's name directly into the search bar.

      • Barcode Scanner: Open the barcode scanner to identify assets by scanning their codes.

      • NFC Scanner: Use the NFC tag scanner for assets equipped with NFC tags.

        Search, sort, and scan assets using barcode or NFC in the asset list.

      • Filter Options: Click on the "Filters" field to apply specific filters based on various criteria. Tip: Once filters are active, the "Filters" field will turn black. Be mindful of this, as filters can remain active without users realizing it, potentially limiting the asset list displayed.
        ​

        Apply advanced filters to narrow down assets by location, type, or status.

  3. View Filtered Results

    • After applying one of the filtering methods, the corresponding asset will be displayed.

    Note: Using filters not only shows the selected asset but also displays any related child assets. If you're filtering by typing text in the search field, keep in mind that it also searches within the asset description.
