Fill out a Form (Mobile App)

Filling out forms and checklists ensures thorough task completion, improves consistency, and maintains accurate records.

Follow these simple steps to fill out a form:

  1. Open Forms Tab:

    • Navigate to the Forms tab. For this example, we'll fill out a form in a work order, but the process is similar for other application entities. Click on the Forms tab and select the corresponding checklist.

      Note: If you are working with a work order, ensure you start editing the work order before filling out the checklist. Otherwise, you will only be able to view the form without making changes.

  2. Select Checklist:

    • Choose the checklists you need to fill out. If there are many items inside checklist, use the search field at the top to quickly locate specific items.

      The "Forms" tab in the Work Order Edit screen shows one form—"Security Cameras - Checklist"—with a progress circle and an options menu. A plus button at the bottom allows adding new forms.

  3. Review and Respond:

    • Depending on the type of the item, a number of response options will show. For more info about form item types, follow this link. Items marked with an asterisk (*) are required. Review each item and provide your responses.

  4. Add Comments and Attachments:

    • For each checklist item, you can add comments, images, or documents by clicking the corresponding icons below the item.

  5. Save Your Progress:

    • After completing the checklist, click "Save" to keep your changes. Alternatively, choose "Save & Close" to save and exit the form.

      The Security Cameras Checklist displays multiple checklist items with status options (In Progress, On Hold, Completed). Each item has icons to add comments, images, or files. Search and filter options are also available at the top.

  6. Track Progress:

    • The number next to the checklist name will update to show how many items have been completed. You can edit or delete the checklist by clicking the options icon next to it.

      The Work Order Edit screen shows that all 7 checklist items in the Security Cameras form have been completed, indicated by a full green circle. The form can still be accessed or managed via the options menu.
