Creating tasks via the app boosts productivity with on-the-go convenience and real-time updates for streamlined workflow.

Follow these simple steps to quickly create a task, ensuring efficient management and streamlined workflow.

  1. Open the Tasks Menu: Tap on the menu icon and select "Tasks" from the list.

  2. Create a New Task: Click on the Plus (+) button to open a new task form.

  3. Enter Task Details: Fill in the necessary information, including the task name, description, priority level, and any relevant images.

  4. Add Client Information: If the task is related to a client, include the Client Contact or Client Company details.

  5. Link to an Asset: Select the appropriate asset that the task pertains to.

  6. Set a Due Date: Specify the date by which the task needs to be completed.

  7. Relate to a Project: If this task is part of a larger project, link it to the relevant project.

  8. Assign the Task:

    • Click on "Assign" and choose whether to assign the task to individual users or an entire organization.

    • If you assign it to an organization, any member can claim the task.

    • If multiple users are assigned, each can edit the task, but only one person can complete it.

  9. For Individual Assignments:

    • If you assign the task to yourself, additional options like "In Progress," "On Hold," and "Complete" will appear when you save the changes.

    • You will also need to fill in fields such as Actual Start and End Dates and Description of Activities Carried Out.

  10. Add Supervisor Details: For additional oversight, you can assign a supervisor organization or a specific supervisor to the task.

  11. Attach Documents: Under the "Documents" tab, add any necessary attachments, such as instructions or additional explanations.

  12. Save and Assign:

    After entering all the information, click on the diskette icon to save the task. You’ll see several options; select "Assign" to allocate the task. If assigned to someone else, they will receive a notification.

  13. Locate the Task:

    • If the task is assigned to someone else, you can find it under the "All Tasks" tab.

    • If the task list is extensive, use the search function or sorting options to locate the task quickly.
