Follow these simple steps to quickly create a task:
Open the Tasks Menu:
Tap on the menu icon and select "Tasks" from the list.
Create a New Task:
Enter Task Details:
Add Client Information:
If the task is related to a client, include the Client Contact or Client Company details.
Link to an Asset:
Select the appropriate asset that the task pertains to.
Set a Due Date:
Specify the date by which the task needs to be completed.
Relate to a Project:
If this task is part of a larger project, link it to the relevant project.
Assign the Task:
Click on "Assign" and choose whether to assign the task to individual users or an entire organization.
If you assign it to an organization, any member can claim the task.
If multiple users are assigned, each can edit the task, but only one person can complete it.
For Individual Assignments:
If you assign the task to yourself, additional options like "In Progress," "On Hold," and "Complete" will appear when you save the changes.
You will also need to fill in fields such as Actual Start and End Dates and Description of Activities Carried Out.
Add Supervisor Details:
For additional oversight, you can assign a supervisor organization or a specific supervisor to the task.
Attach Documents:
Under the "Documents" tab, add any necessary attachments, such as instructions or additional explanations.
Save and Assign:
Locate the Task:
If the task is assigned to someone else, you can find it under the "All Tasks" tab.
If the task list is extensive, use the search function or sorting options to locate the task quickly.
