Follow these steps to create a new meter and connect it instantly to your asset.
Select the Meters Tab: From the tabs section, select the Meters tab. The number of tabs next to it may vary depending on the part of the application you're in. In this case, we’re adding a meter to a Location, but you can add it to various asset types based on your asset structure.
Open the Meters List: Once you've clicked on the Meters tab, a new list will open where you can add, edit, or delete meters.
Click on New Meter: To add a new meter, click on the New Meter button.
Enter Meter Details: A new window will appear where you can enter the following details:
Name: Enter the meter's name.
Meter Code: This is generated automatically, but you can change it if you prefer to track your meters differently.
Description: Provide a brief description of the meter.
Measure Unit: Specify the unit of measurement (e.g., gallons, liters, volts).
Meter Number: Enter the unique meter number.
Save the Meter: Once you've entered all the necessary information, click Save. The new meter will then appear on the list.
Modify or Delete the Meter: If any modifications are needed, you can edit the meter at any time or delete it if necessary.
