Add Occupational Health and Safety

Enhance workplace safety, reduce accidents, and ensure regulatory compliance with effective occupational health and safety measures.

Follow these steps to create Occupational Health and Safety measure:

  1. Open the Occupational Health and Safety Tab:

    • Select this tab from from the tabs section. The number of tabs next to it may vary based on the application section you’re in. For this example, we’re focusing on creating OHS measures for a Location, which includes specific components like LOTO procedures and responsible persons, which may not be the case with every application entity that has OHS.

      Access the OHS tab in an asset to define Lockout-Tagout responsibilities and safety protocols.

  2. Add Responsible Persons:

    • Enter the names of the Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) responsible persons. You can do this by typing their names into the search field or by clicking the icon next to it to select from a list.
      ​

      Assign responsible persons for lockout-tagout and HSE procedures using the dropdown or search.

  3. Input LOTO Instructions:

    • After adding the responsible persons, proceed to input the Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) instructions.

  4. Specify Hazards and Safety Measures:

    • Add relevant hazards, protective equipment, and environmental protection measures. You can select options from a dropdown menu or type the names directly to find and select the appropriate options.

      Fill in safety procedures, hazard types, PPE, and environmental protection measures, then save.

  5. Save the Information:

    • Once you’ve completed all the necessary entries, click "Save". The OHS instructions will then be applied to any actions involving (in this case) this Location.
