Learn to create and manage parts in CMMS for efficient tracking, maintenance, and integration across all software functions.

Follow the steps to create a new part in our CMMS by entering essential details, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient use in maintenance tasks.

  1. Open the Catalog List: Navigate to the sidebar and select "Catalog."

  2. Access Parts: Click on "Parts" to manage your inventory.

  3. Create New Part: Click "New" to start adding a part.

  4. Enter Part Details: Fill in the part name, description, select the part type, and input other relevant information.

  5. Add an Image: Click on the image field to upload a photo of the part.
    ​

  6. Specify Category and Measure Unit: Search and select the category and measure unit by entering text or clicking the icon.

  7. Input General Information: Under the "General" tab, enter make, model, and barcodes.
    ​

  8. Attach Documents: Go to the "Documents" tab to upload any necessary attachments.

  9. Save the Part: Click "Save" to add the new part to the list.
    ​

NOTE: Including certain fields will affect the functionality of the part.
