Create Action From Request

Generate tasks, work orders, or projects from a request to maintain a clear link between issues and their resolutions.

Follow these simple steps to generate an action from a request:

Note: Before you can generate actions from a request, you need to enable this option in Settings.

  1. Access Settings

    • After logging in, navigate to the Administration section from the sidebar and click on Settings.

  2. Enable Action Creation

    • Select Request settings and check the options for the activities you want to generate from a request.

  3. Save Changes

    • Click Save to apply your settings. You can now create work orders, tasks, or projects directly from a request.
      ​

Note: A request must have the status Submitted before you can generate these actions from it.

  1. Access Requests

    • Navigate to the Work section from the sidebar and select Requests.

  2. Find the Relevant Request

    • If the list is long, use filtering options to quickly locate the request. Learn more about filtering requests here.

  3. Select and Edit the Request

    • Click on the Edit button from the details section or the three-dot menu next to the request name in the table.

  4. Choose the Action to Create

    • Select the appropriate option based on whether you need to create a Work Order, Task, or Project.
      ​

  5. Enter the Required Details
